In 1975, the view of hiking boots changed forever. Giancarla Tanzi invented the first trekking boots using Cordura material. Shortly after, he comes with another innovation and introduces the first Gore-Tex boots to the market. In this grand style, the Italian brand Asolo burst onto the market, whose boots are still synonymous with boots created for mountaineers today.

Asolo's goal is to provide everyone with a durable, quality and comfortable boot that keeps the foot dry and warm while maintaining low weight. They achieve this thanks to a whole range of innovations that they are constantly introducing. Let's remember Asoframe, Asoflex, DuoAsoflex, Asosorb or Micro Pulley System, to name a few.

In 2013, Asolo introduced new Natural Shape technology. A year later, it won another award for the Eiger GV BIG mountaineering boots, which are light, keep feet warm, provide maximum comfort and support top performance in the most extreme conditions.
