K2
The K2 brand was founded by American brothers Bill and Don Kirschner in 1962, first specialising in skis. Over time, while producing skis, snowboards or triathlon equipment, K2 also worked its way up to become a significant player in the field of inline skates. And this is the area where the company is most active today. K2’s inline skates are characterized by high-quality materials, a whole range of innovations, and sophisticated design.
Even at its very beginnings in producing skis, K2 proved to be visionaries by being the first in the world to use fiberglass for lighter and more maneuverable skis. K2’s workshop has come up with groundbreaking innovations for inline skates as well. In 1993, the company’s developers presented a collection of K2 inline skates with their patented Softboot®. Since then, K2 has been at the cutting edge of high-quality inline skates and continues to set new trends.
But K2 isn’t just about inline skates. The company also takes safety seriously, and that’s why their portfolio also includes helmetsand protectors.
