LEKI, a German manufacturer of trekking, nordic walking, ski and cross-country poles without compromise. LEKI is also significantly associated with the Czech Republic, since 1993 the poles have been manufactured in Tachov.
The beginnings of the brand date back to 1948, when LEKI Lenhart GmbH is founded. The first poles were created by Klaus Lenhart (the company's founder) for downhill skiing, which he himself indulged in abundantly. He placed great emphasis on the development of handles and baskets of cross-country poles. In the 1960s, he introduced the first collection of fiberglass poles.
Since 1970, they have been expanding the production of poles for other sports: cross-country skiing and ski mountaineering. In 1978, Reinhold Messner and Peter Haber climbed Mount Everest with LEKI poles without oxygen equipment.
LEKI constantly innovates its poles for the highest quality and enjoyment of sport. In addition to poles, they also produce exceptionally high-quality gloves for downhill skiers, cross-country skiers and biathletes.
No matter what activity you do outside and need support, Leki is the right choice. Proof? Leki poles are used by the Mountain Rescue Service, top biathletes such as Gabriela Koukalová, and the cross-country trail elite led by the Brno ultra-runner, winner of B7 2020, Zdeněk Hruška.
