The North Face
North Face is the name for the coldest and most inaccessible side of a mountain. So it's a bit ironic that the story of The North Face brand began on the beach. Specifically, in the North Beach district of San Francisco, just 50 meters above sea level. It was here that two enthusiasts decided to open a small retail mountaineering store in 1966. Soon after, the small store became known as The North Face. In 1968, they moved across the San Francisco Bay to Berkeley and began designing and manufacturing their own brand of technical mountaineering clothing and equipment.
Now, after more than 50 years on the market, The North Face is a strong brand with quality outdoor clothing, backpacks, footwear, tents, and everything you need on your journey to adventure.
