Hello to the rink! When to the pond?
It's freezing, i'm going skating! If you're going to a stadium or other artificial rink, what are you waiting for? But if you have a pond behind your house, be careful. For ice on a frozen pond or other water surface to be safe, you need several days of hard frost. Sources vary, the ice should be at least 10 cm, optimal is at least 15 cm. And how long does it take for such a layer of ice to form? For at least 5 days the temperature shouldn't rise above -5°C, not even during the day.
